The MaxxECU PnP kit for the BMW N54 allows you to gain full control over the engine while allowing easy fitment into your car, be it the original car or after an engine swap.

Ignition options:
This kit will only work with aftermarket coils. Such as R8 or R35 GTR Coils. The factory N54 or B58 smart coils are not supported. The factory coil plugs will need to be changed to work with what ever new coils are chosen.
Some aftermarket GTR/VAG/R8 coil looms available for the OEM ECU will not be compatible with a MaxxECU! Contact the coil conversion manufacturer to verify that their coil loom is compatible with logic 0-5v signals.
This is for port injection converted vehicles ONLY. The direct injection no longer works and GDI Injectors should be removed and blanks fitted. All PFI injectors are supported.
The port fuel injector harness is available as an option. Otherwise the male connector for the break out is here
Alternator, Oil level, Oil Temperature and Waterpump BSD control is built into the adapter.
